Contemporary Flat

Retreat to the warmth of this comfortable, light, bright flat located on the first floor of our house.

Enter the garden area through the red-painted portal and reflect on the beauty of nature in the tranquil green space just outside your front door. This peaceful area includes a small pond filled with lily pads, the sounds of birds, frogs and more.

The flat showcases local art and quality furnishings. It features two bedrooms, one bathroom with a large walk-in shower, and a separate dining room. Granite counter tops and bar, cherry cabinets, wine refrigerator, and cozy gas fireplace are located on one end of the open concept main room. A comfortable sitting area and TV are located on the opposite end of the room.

The flat is furnished with a full-size refrigerator, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, hot plate, and other appliances. There’s an outdoor gas grill and Traeger smoker located on the covered patio – all you need to create healthy home-cooked meals – may we suggest Oregon steelhead, salmon, or grass-fed beef burgers. Sip coffee or wine on the patio while you look out over the large oaks, meadows, lily pond, and the Christmas tree farm.

While located close to Oregon State University and three miles from the Corvallis city center, there are no busy streets nearby.

Beautiful Home

This is a beautiful home just minutes from downtown Corvallis but with the feel of a country retreat exclamation clean, quiet and comfortable with helpful and friendly hosts. We look forward to an opportunity to come back and stay here!

Fantastic!

We were up for our son’s wedding and could not have picked a nicer place to stay! It was so warm and welcoming there, and absolutely beautiful. We were a rather large group, but everyone fit, and everyone raved about it. Dale was nice enough to let us hold the rehearsal dinner there, even had tables and chairs to rent. That went fantastic, such a lovely place to hold it. All in all, if I could give it 10 stars I would I highly recommend this, the owner is wonderful, very helpful and friendly.

A Lovely Stay!

Dale and Peggy were wonderful, welcoming hosts. The home is lovely, large, and has all the needed amenities. Very well located in Corvallis, and what a treat to be amongst the Christmas trees. Dale’s beautiful property is an added plus!

Great Host

Return to Corvallis – great time again at Dale’s. My wife and I visited Corvallis last September and stayed at Dale’s. We returned last week to see what Oregon Winters have to offer. Once again, Dale was a great host, and very helpful in understanding the local community. We were able to have a sunny day at the coast. Then two days later we were snowshoeing in 6 inches of fresh snow in the Cascades. We look forward to returning to Corvallis and checking in with Dale again.

Family Fun Stay

We had such a wonderful time on this property. Enjoyed our morning coffee on the patio while watching the birds and squirrels. Room for everyone and our host had so much information for us, along with so many outside activities for us to choose to do. This is definitely an amazing place to bring the family. Love the quiet neighborhood and the lovely Christmas trees everywhere. Our host is so helpful and such a delay. Can’t wait for our next trip out there

Dale Donovan has officiated over 3000 contemporary and traditional weddings. While he has now stepped down from his officiant role, Donovan’s Place is still a great location to celebrate important milestones. Dale loves to help organize special gathering for their guests – ask him about the recent wedding celebration among the oaks, complete with a beribboned May Pole and dance! There have outside space that is perfect for events!
